Redistricting in high gear
As far as state legislators are concerned, redistricting is all about them.
Every 10 years, they get to draw their own districts, picking and choosing which voters are theirs and which ones they’ll give to their friends or their foes. Sophisticated computer programs allow them to carve up communities precinct by precinct, even block by block.
